Kiran Chaitram joined The Law Offices of John Morrison in March 2019 as a litigating attorney in the firm’s personal injury department. He is originally from New York City, where he practiced law for five years before relocating to Atlanta. He is a member of the Georgia, New York, and New Jersey state bars, in addition to the United States District Court for the district of New Jersey. He has approximately nine years of combined experience in personal injury, insurance defense, and workers’ compensation law.
Kiran obtained his juris doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2010. At Brooklyn, he received two CALI awards in addition to a Platinum Certificate for public service work. During law school, Kiran served as a law clerk to the Honorable Laura Lee Jacobson in the Kings County Supreme Court. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, where he majored in Mathematical Economics and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude honors in May 2007. He attended college and law school on full academic scholarships.
